Why didn't she call?

My best friend and i had stopped talking for two months, one of our mutual friends got ill and it was my duty to inform everyone (I sent out a mass text) when my bff responded i informed her of everything and she told me to keep her posted i said sure thing, and that i hoped she was doin well and she said the same for me. we went to visit our sick friend and we carried on as if nothing ever happened and hung out alone and everything. then when i was goin back to school (this all happened durin spring break) i texted and was like we have to work on us and get back where we were and she said yeah, sure thing. i said i would give her time if she needed it but she said would make time for us to talk the next day since it was late, but she never called, that was 5 days ago........why didn't she call?
