Should i dye my hair or get highlights? &what color?

Totally start out with highlights and try a caramel or a sandy blonde. Its not too "POP" but its a subtle attractive look. And I know a friend of mine that had dark brown...she put deep red low lights in her hair and it looked great. Stay away from dying it for now...its a huge pain in the a** to try to keep up with roots.
