If you work at Macy's, can you answer my question?

Hey so I just got a job at Macy's and today was my first day on the floor, I work in moderates in the swimsuit area, and I was wondering about the pin number for the register. I was trained to work on the register but I never got a pin number. Was I suppose to be given one by my manager or was I suppose to make on up myself?
